Born in the year England last won the world cup. And despite no joy since, we demand that the lads give their all. Rob - and the nation - expects. A lot like student Roses really. You know you want to win - but there's no chance if you don't even turn up. Go on - Be prepared to pit your best against THE best with an 'I want it' attitude. Be the one that wants 'it' enough to cancel: the pub, the girl/boy/friend, the mind numbing Saturday night TV, facebook. Switch them all off. Concentrate. Dedicate. Create. Present your very best with the belief that you can compete and win. Win or loose, Commiserate or celebrate, enjoy it. Good Luck.
After studying photography and graphic design in Manchester, Simon began photographing cats in trees as a press photographer for the Rotherham Advertiser. Next came a spell as a runner, assistant film editor and then negative cutter within Manchester's film post industry. Shortly after making the switch from cutting film, Simon began producing alongside and then directing for his long time business partner at The Gate Films, Sarah Jarvis. Simon is a director with great comic timing, plenty of gloss and loves working closely with actors. His work includes spots for A&L, Subaru, Peugeot and Sony. He likes to sail. Close to the wind. His directing now sits as a secondary career alongside his main job as CEO of The Gate group.
